AGENDA 1. Greet Members at Door (Sergeant in Arms, Gives name badge, sign-in at table) 2. Call Meeting to Order (President Rings Bell or Use Gavel) 3. Pledge of Allegiance (Stand with hand over heart and Face the Flag) 4. Pledge for Aktion Club (Say aloud together) I pledge on my honor to follow the Objects of Aktion Club. To better my community, my country and myself. To help those in need. To demonstrate loyalty to our community and nation. And to encourage others to do the same
5. Introductions of Members and Guests (President starts, go around table) 6. Review Minutes from last meeting (Secretary can summarize) 7. Treasurer’s Report ·
MEMBERSHIP DUES – Club paid $8 per member ($128) to Kiwanis International.
OLD BUSINESS 8. Annual Membership Fee – Membership dues $8. [Name badge $4, T-shirt $10] 9. Veteran’s Day cards and candy delivered to local nursing homes on Nov. 10. Thanks to help from Granville Kiwanis Club (Barb Might) and GES K-Kids. NEW BUSINESS 10. Installation of 2017-18 Officers 11. Brief Leadership Training – Review duties of positions 1
12. INVITED SPEAKERS – Newark High School Key Club, “Wildcat-athon” fundraiser project – Knox County Aktion Club from Mt. Vernon and Dee Mechling 13. Current Service Projects and Fundraisers – · · · ·
Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF/”The Eliminate Project” - Deadline 12/30/17. [Granville and Newark Kiwanis clubs collected $303 at meetings.] GOAL: Raise $2 per member. Homemade toys for cats and dogs at Licking County Humane Society – continue project initiated by GES K-Kids. Toilet paper tube treats and braided chew toys. Holiday cards for Seniors – work on these at next mtg on Dec. 12. Other service projects?
