TENNIS PLAYER OF THE WEEK WOMEN’S
Mariaxi Herrera, Texas A&M University - Kingsville, JR, Ibarra, Ecuador, Los Arrayanes Herrera went 5-1 in singles No. 1 last week and teamed with Marija Dimitrovska in doubles No. 1 to go 5-2 to lead the Javelinas to a 5-2 mark in seven matches between March 13-18... Herrera defeated two regionallyranked opponents and one nationally-ranked opponent and is 11-4 in singles and 11-5 in doubles this season... over her last 10 matches, the junior is 8-2 in flight No. 1 and 7-3 in doubles No. 1.

Midwestern State Tarleton State Texas A&M-Kingsville Texas A&M-Kingsville had a busy week but shined, going 5-2 last week with two wins over nationally-ranked opponents and handing two teams their first losses of the season... on the season, the Javelinas are 9-7, clinching the best mark in school history since the program was reinstated... the Hogs are currently 2-1 in their Florida road trip and went 3-1 in the inaugural West Texas Collegiate Shootout in Midland.
