Recruit Chapter partners/sponsors

Media relations Press releases Community calendars TV, radio, print interviews Help promote EWGA events to the community

Maintain chapter Facebook page
Other helpful information about the position: The new director will decide how many hours to devote to the position. In general, you should expect to spend at least five hours per week. Some weeks may be more, some weeks may be less. Characteristics of the position include: •
Attending one board meeting per month (usually two to four hours).
•
A great opportunity to meet Chapter members and promote Chapter events.
•
Being comfortable with seeking out sponsors and fundraising is a plus.
•
Working with other board members and identifying team members to assist you.
•
Fun position to get to know new people, meet volunteers, help organize and run events, and promote the Chapter. This role is ideal for someone who is a real people person, unafraid to make new connections, and really loves the Chapter.
The current Marketing Director will be available as a team member to help the new director get established in the role.
