REGISTRATION DIRECTOR JOB DESCRIPTION Summary: Responsible for the administration and documentation of registration and rostering of all players and coaches within NMYHA. Reports to: NMYHA Board of Directors, USA Hockey District Registrar Responsibilities:
Set registration dates for upcoming hockey season; book meeting rooms with CAC Set-up and monitor online Registration Session Communicate registration information to local area through: NMYHA website, mass email sent out by Communications Director, email blast by city of BP, Park and Rec brochure Arrange for registration volunteers (all board members to attend) to ensure all volunteers are in place for registration Work with CyberSport program to claim members from USA Hockey Collect birth certificates for all new players Attend monthly board meetings ; give report of previous month’s activities Attend all meetings on a District/Mn Hockey/USA Hockey level and report to the Board of Directors (approximately 2 per month Oct. through Jan., plus misc others) Represent NMYHA in a positive manner Maintain player files Attend Managers’ Meetings to go over roster information and coach/player/volunteer/manager requirements Maintain coach files; collect yearly USA Hockey numbers, background checks, CEP, and SafeSport; enter all coach information in Cybersport Pull requested reports for Hockey Ops and Executive Board Build team rosters through Cybersport Have all rosters verified and signed by District Registrar Distribute rosters to team managers via roster books Prepare and send out waivers Collect roster books at the end of the season Prepare and present annual report at annual meeting
