From paper-backed fusible web • Trace seventy-five scallops onto the paper side of the fusible web. Rough-cut each scallop 1/8" outside the drawn lines. From the scallop fabrics: • Note the number of scallops you need to cut from each fabric. Remove the unmarked backing paper and, following the manufacturer’s instructions, press the scallop tracings onto the wrong side of the fabrics listed below. Cut out each scallop on the drawn lines after fusing. C1480 Mist (A): six scallops C1511 Ivory (B): seven scallops C1511 Mist (C): ten scallops C1512 Citron (D): five scallops C1512 Citrus (E): nine scallops C1512 Mist (F): four scallops C1512 Mocha (G): five scallops C1514 Mist (H): seven scallops C1510 Ivory (J): five scallops C1480 Lemongrass (K): four scallops C1480 Citrus (L): seven scallops From C1514 Mocha (I): • Cut six 21⁄2" x width-of-fabric (WOF) strips for binding. • Cut six scallops (see instructions above). From Soho White (M): • Cut one 601⁄2" x WOF rectangle. • Cut two 6" x 601⁄2" from length of fabric.

Quilt Top Assembly 1. Sew one 6" x 601⁄2" Soho White (M) strip to each side of the 601⁄2" x WOF Soho White (M) rectangle and trim to make the 501⁄2" x 601⁄2" background. 2. Refer to the quilt layout to arrange the seventy-five scallops on the Soho White (M) background rectangle, working in horizontal rows, starting at the bottom. Leave a 1/2" space between the scallop side points and use the Spacing Template to help position the scallops evenly onto the background. NOTE: The scallops on the outer edges of the background will hang over the edges. 3. Once all the scallops are in place, follow the manufacturer’s instructions to fuse them into place. Trim the outer scallop edges even with the background edges. 4. Straight stitch 1/4" in from the edge on each scallop to anchor them to the background. Finishing 5. Layer the quilt top, batting and backing and quilt as desired. 6. Stitch the binding strips together end to end using diagonal seams. Fold and press the resulting long strip in half lengthwise with wrong sides together. Stitch to the quilt front, matching raw edges and mitering the corners. 7. Fold the binding to the quilt underside and hand-stitch the folded edge to the quilt back.
