USTA League Tennis There’s still time to add players to your teams.
A question: What does it means to have a match considered

to be played in good faith. The answer to this is found in The Code, Part 2—The Players’ Guide to Fair Play & the Unwritten Rules of Tennis under Principles—THE CODE 45, #2. Points played in good faith are counted. The last paragraph of #2 addresses the match: “Shaking hands at the end of a match is an acknowledgment by the players that the match is over.”
Watch for a district survey regarding the new 2013 league structure and age groups that will be offered. We need everyone to participate, this will decide what age groups play, and when. This will be done on survey monkey and those participating will be in a drawing for cash and prizes.
Need to check stats, standings, schedules and scores while on the go? Now, there’s an app for that and much more! Download the USTA League app for your iPad™, iPhone®, iPod touch® devices at the iTunes store and get USTA League information anywhere at anytime.
Congratulations to the Julie Korsnack 8.0 Sr. Mixed team below l, and the 7.0 Sr. Mixed Connie Rush team below r, for representing and winning the Midwest Section Championships at their respective levels!
