The A2/M2 can be joined at Canterbury and the M20 at the end of Stone Street (approximate 12 miles). Additionally, the Channel Ports of Dover and Folkestone are within 15 miles, offering regular crossings to the Continent.
Our Time Here Quite honestly, we fell in love with this house as soon as we saw it. Stuppington Court Farm is a lovely little private development surrounded by beautiful fields and orchards, and yet just 5 minutes into the centre of Canterbury! The house itself is so pretty and full of character with lots of original features such as the cart bay, which is fabulous for outdoor summer parties. The garden is wonderful, in the sun all day and there’s nothing nicer than sitting out there with a glass of wine watching the sun go down. From the moment we moved in, we loved the lounge. It’s a lovely big room with light on three sides, which is the perfect place for our whole family to congregate when they come to stay. It’s cool in the summer, but really cosy in the winter with the log burner going. During our time here we have converted the attic into a room with en-suite. It has the most amazing views, especially during Christmas-time when the leaves are off the trees and you can see the cathedral all lit up from there. The location is just perfect – close to all the amenities, the brilliant schools that Canterbury has to offer, the countryside surrounds you and it’s not far from the coast. We're also within walking distance of the county cricket ground and the rugby club. You can easily get to Dover or the Channel Tunnel for trips overseas, and the high-speed train makes a quick and pleasant commute to London. We will miss everything about this house but feel it is time to move on and let a new family enjoy it as much as we have.
