AGENDA June 18th, 2014 @7:00PM Millbrae Park and Recreation Center Conference Room “C” Introductions: Approval of last month’s meeting minutes Old Business: • (Succession Planning – carried over from April) -- Positions Open: U6 coordinator • Region Assessment Program application. Due to Area by 7/1. RC has filled it out—we qualify for Platinum again. Will need signatures from all executive board members. • General board meeting will be set for 7/16, will be announced to everyone via email. A good way to get volunteers for opening day/snack bar/photo committees. • Registration update. o As of early this week we are at 650 signups. Rose to provide a breakdown of divisions. We have a request to move up 2 U16G players (currently oversized) to U19. o E-sign issues. Affecting about 8-9 applicants. Will need to work on talking them through clearing or completing e-sign, as National is currently unable to clear them at their end. Also, 28 applicants with no payment – followup on these. National has asked to keep registrations open as long as possible. o Volunteer registration. All board members will need to be up-to-date in eAYSO! Only seeing 16 names so these need to be entered. New Business: • ACS Relay For Life. I’ve created a Millbrae AYSO team, will hand out info and will hope that you can sign up or find others to join our team on 7/26. • Invoices for Mills game field time and storage shed have been generated by SMUHSD. Area wants us to book to early Nov for playoffs, we’re currently set until 10/31. Reports: RC (Sam Habash) • Training. Golden Gate Camp will have a focus on having regional board-specific training classes for registrar/intro to management. There is RC training scheduled for November of this year and January of next. • Equipment ordering. Needed by 7/26. Meredith to assist. Status update? Should we inventory what’s in the shed? • Changed out locks on Taylor goals, as they were unsecured, using keys instead of combos. Also need to repair bolts on one of the goals. • UK Soccer status (unchanged). Follow up with Trader Joe’s for free water. RRA (Sherman Lam) • Referee feedback / upcoming courses
