By 1991, it was used in the San Francisco Chronicle, "The nation is now in the middle of 'March madness', that time of year when the NCAA basketball tournament takes place." – found at Dictionary.com The birthstone for March is the aquamarine. The zodiac signs for March are Aries and Pisces The birth flower for March is daffodil.
