From Green fabric cut: - (2) 3” x 3” Squares (E) - (2) 1-1/2” x 10-1/2” (H) - (2) 1-1/2” x 12-1/2” (I) ¡ From Purple fabric cut: - (2) 3” x 3” Squares (F) ¡ From Gold fabric cut: - (1) 2-1/2” x 2-1/2” Square (G)

Piecing Instructions ¡ Mark

a diagonal line on the backside of the (8) Background “A” squares as shown.

¡ Layer

¡ Sew

¡ Cut

(1) Background “A” Square on top of (1) Red “C” square.

a 1/4” seam on both sides of the drawn line.

in half on the diagonal line. Press towards the Red triangle. Square up blocks to 2-1/2” x 2-1/2”

¡ Repeat

the previous (3) steps to make a total of (4) Red (HST) units, (6) Blue “C” HST units. (4) Green “D” HST units, and (4) Purple “D” HST units.

rows together to make (1) Block 1. Press seams open. Block should measure 4-1/2” x 4-1/2”

¡ Repeat previous (3) steps with (4) Blue HST units, (4) Green HST

units, and (4) Purple HST Units.

¡ Sew blocks together into rows, pressing seams towards the

rows together to make (1) Wheel of Chance block. Press seams in the direction of the arrows. Block should measure 10-1/2” x 10-1/2”

Add Block Framing Strips ¡ Sew

a Green “H” strip to the left and right sides of the block. Press towards the green strip.

¡ Sew

a Green “I” strip to the top and bottom of the block. Press towards the green Strip.

¡ Block
