Dear Parents / Carers of 3B, Re: Change of Class Teacher for 3B I am writing to let you know about the upcoming change of teacher for your child’s class. The current teacher, Miss Baker, has been with us whilst she has been travelling in Europe and she is leaving us at Christmas to have some more exciting travel adventures before she returns to her home in Australia. I am sure that you will join me and the rest of the staff in thanking Miss Baker for her time at Moss Hall Juniors and wishing her all the very best for the future. Mrs Fenn was due to return from maternity leave after Christmas but she has decided to take some time away from teaching to focus on being a full time Mummy to her two lovely children. Unfortunately this means that she will not now be taking over the class from Miss Baker when she leaves. However, I am very pleased to inform you that we have appointed the lovely Mrs Danvers to be the full time class teacher for 3B from January. We are all really excited about her coming to join the Moss Hall Juniors team and I know that she is really looking forward to getting to know you all when she arrives. She will be visiting us during the remainder of this term to get to know all the children and work with Miss Baker and we will be holding a Meet the Teacher session early in the new term so that she can get to know all the parents/carers as well. We will send you more information on this session after the Christmas break. In the meantime, I know you will help us to make Mrs Danvers feel really welcome as she joins the Moss Hall family.
