INTRODUCTION To replace the battery, carefully follow these steps and use the correct tools.

TOOLS: Spudger (1) SIM Card Eject Tool (1) T4 Torx Screwdriver (1)

Step 1 — Sim Card & Tray 

Using the sim card removal tool remove the sim card tray.

Step 2 — Back Plate

 There is adhesive holding the back plate in place. Be careful removing this as there is wiring on the other side. 

Using the sim card removal tool, pry off the back plate.

Step 3 — Back Panel



Disconnect the two battery connections.



Remove the two parallel black tabs by pulling on them.

Step 4

 All screw lengths are 2.5mm  Take notice of the orange circle. Do not remove the T4 screw it contains. This is not necessary and may cause the loss of parts. 

Using the T4 screw driver, remove all 20 T4 screws.



Using the nylon spudger, remove the two clips holding the panel in place.

Step 5 — Battery 

Remove the orange cable that connects the battery of the phone to the NFC.

Step 6

 There will still be some adhesive on the battery so moderate force may be needed. 

After removing the orange cable, simply lift up the battery to remove it.
