Mound Area Regional Sewer Improvements Update REMINDER: Work on the first stage of sewer and other utility construction begins April 25. Be prepared for road closures and other area construction impacts.

Westedge Blvd./CR 44 closure starts Wed., April 25 The road will be closed to all regional traffic between approximately Setter Circle and Hwy. 7 (the CR 110/Bartlett Blvd. and CR 44 intersection will remain open to all traffic). Advance warning signs have been posted in the area, and updates have been posted on the project website. You may have already seen CenterPoint Energy working in the area to replace gas lines before construction begins.

Local Access: Spring – Fall 2018 If you live south of the Halstead Bay Bridge: Your main access will be to/from the south (Hwy. 7) If you live north of Setter Circle: Your main access will be to/from the north (CR 15) If you live in the construction zone: The work will be a moving operation and crews may be in different locations on a day-to-day basis. Your access points/routes may change depending on where they are working. See the back for information on how to stay updated!

Stay updated on construction activities and crew locations! • Weekly phone updates: Call the project hotline, 952-222-3912 and press extension 2 for a weekly update on the expected crew locations.

• Weekly email/text updates: Visit the project website, metrocouncil.org/sewerconstruction/mound-CR44 to sign up for weekly project email or text updates.

• Direct flyer updates: If there are days when crews need to temporarily work directly in front of your driveway, they will be knocking on your door or leaving a flyer notification in advance.

Traffic monitoring • Please be aware that there may be some driver confusion and additional traffic on some streets (especially during the first week or two of the closure) • Project staff will put up signs around the project area to help reduce potential cut-through traffic, and will monitor the area and make feasible adjustments to signs as needed • Concerns regarding driver actions such as speeding should be reported to local law enforcement 
