REMINDERS I hope you and your children enjoyed fall break!
Math– We will learn about taller/longer. Counting by 10’s and 1’s to 100 and putting 1-10 objects in order. Writing– We will begin sounding out and writing words such as dog, man, sad, ect. Science– We will dissect a pumpkin, talking about the different parts and what we can make out of a pumpkin. Language– students will be reviewing vocabulary words and learning new words as well. This weeks vocabulary words are: Autumn, nature, seasons, light, living, plant, seed, senses, shape, soil, water, air, flower, compare, first, second, third, fourth, fifth.
Please work with your child each night with their sight words. Read with your child each night and write down the book in your child’s MOOSE folder. Please make sure to send library books back to school with your child so they are able to check out a new book on Monday and Wednesdays.
