Mrs. Asher’s Super Kindergarten Reading–
Reviewing missy mouse and nigel nightowl and what sound the letter makes and how to correctly form the letters.
Rhyming, counting syllables, listening to beginning sounds and ending sounds.
Learn the sight words listed below.
I, it, go, is, me, can, to, and, a, the, my, big, for, said, here. Math– We will be creating sets up to eight using cubes and matching to the correct numeral. Science– We will be sorting living and nonliving things. Language– students will be reviewing vocabulary words and learning new words as well. This weeks vocabulary words are: living, non-living, color, seasons (spring, summer, winter, fall), compare, above, behind, beside, between, over, under, below.
REMINDERS
Please work with your child each night with their sight words. Read with your child each night and write down the book in your child’s MOOSE folder. Thank you to parents who attended parent/teacher conferences. If you were unable to attend, we need to set up a date/time to meet. Please use my contact information and contact me if you have not done so.
Important Dates Sept. 22nd-25th-Book Fair this week. You may send money with your chinld in their folder. October 2nd-Pep Assembly-dress in Cougar colors. October 9th-Reading goal needs to be met! October 16th & 17th-Fall Break-No school!
