MULTI-ACTIVITY PLAY TABLE How to correctly install Barrel Nuts Press a Barrel Nut into the hole in the part making sure that the "+" pattern is facing out. Properly aligned Barrel Nut.

The Barrel Nut may look like this - which is not straight with the hole at the edge for the Hex Screw. ITEM #2371

Hole for Hex Screw

Using a standard screwdriver, turn the Nut until the "+" is straight so that the threaded hole is facing outward to accept the Hex Screw. Page 2 of 15

STEP 1

MULTI-ACTIVITY PLAY TABLE Assemble the sides of the drawer, part #2 to the back, #1 using 4 long hex screws and 4 barrel nuts.

Next, slide part #3 into the grooves as shown making sure that it slides fully into the groove in panel #1. Make sure that all "grooves" are facing the inside of the drawer as shown.

STEP 2

MULTI-ACTIVITY PLAY TABLE Attach the drawer front, #4 using 4 long hex screws and 4 barrel nuts. Set the drawer aside for later assembly in the table. Barrel Nut

STEP 3

MULTI-ACTIVITY PLAY TABLE Attach end supports #6 to both end panels #5 as shown using 4 short hex screws and 4 cap nuts.

MULTI-ACTIVITY PLAY TABLE STEP 4

Attach supports #9 to the rear panel #8 and the front panel #7 as shown using 4 short hex screws and 4 cap nuts. Make sure these large holes are facing inward on both parts of the front and rear panels.

STEP 5

MULTI-ACTIVITY PLAY TABLE Attach part #10 to the inside of the front panel as shown using 2 short wood screws. Do not over-tighten the screws!

MULTI-ACTIVITY PLAY TABLE Now attach the end panel assemblies #5 to the rear panel #8 using 4 long hex screws and 4 barrel nuts.

STEP 7

MULTI-ACTIVITY PLAY TABLE Attach the front panel #7 to the rest of the table assembly, between the end panels, using 4 long hex screws and 4 barrel nuts.

STEP 8

MULTI-ACTIVITY PLAY TABLE Attach the table supports #11 into the slots as shown and secure with 4 long wood screws.

STEP 9

MULTI-ACTIVITY PLAY TABLE Start with the drawer inside the 2 top supports and then fit it into the front opening by carefully guiding the drawer pull over the stabilizer strip.

Move the drawer to almost completely open, being careful as it will tend to tip forward a bit. In the next step you may need to move the drawer back and forth to fit the dowel in place.

STEP 10

MULTI-ACTIVITY PLAY TABLE Insert the wood dowel #12 through the hole in the back of the drawer as shown and let it rest in the front hole in the support.

MULTI-ACTIVITY PLAY TABLE 13

Fit part #13 to the end of the dowel by lifting the dowel and drawer and then fit it into the slots as shown. Attach using 2 long wood screws. Make sure that the drawer is free to slide in and out.
