FINISHED MEASUREMENTS Shawl measures approximately 32"/81.5cm wide (from back neck) x 58"/147.5cm long (across top edge) GAUGE Rows 1–6 = 4"/10cm, unblocked; In pattern, 10 Puffs = 4"/10cm, unblocked. Note: To obtain desirable drape, choose a hook that is 2 or 3 sizes larger than what you would usually use with this yarn. Gauge is not critical for this project. STITCHES USED Chain (ch), double crochet (dc), single crochet (sc), slip stitch (sl st) SPECIAL STITCHES Puff: Puff stitch—Yarn over, insert hook in indicated stitch, yarn over and draw up a loop to same height as dc; yarn over, insert hook in same stitch, yarn over and draw up a loop to same height as dc, yarn over and draw through all 5 loops on hook, ch 1 to close puff stitch (ch 1 is part of puff stitch and does not count as a separate stitch).
