Dear Parents Superhero Wow Day Thank you to everyone to supported the event last week, we thought the children looked terrific dressed up as their ‘Superheroes’ and we hope they enjoyed the workshops. Thank you also to the parents who walked with the children to De Bathe Cross to see the cycling, the children behaved beautifully and hopefully gained a lot from the experience. Comments from the children ranged from, ‘amazing’ to ‘awesome’! Open Information Event – Wednesday 21st September Parents are invited to meet their child’s class teacher at our open event on Wednesday next week. The purpose of the event is to inform parents about what their child/ren will be learning, how you can help them with their home learning and class routines. We will send a text out Monday 19th September to see how many parents expect to attend, so that we can arrange refreshments. If you are able to attend, please respond to this text. Thank you Safety Reminder Please could we remind parents to keep to the pedestrian walkways and not walk through the school carpark. Thank you. Drumming Teacher It is with regret that Darren Chrome the Peripatetic drum teacher will no longer be teaching the drums. He has had a fantastic opportunity to record with a group abroad and will be doing various shows. He will be greatly missed. If anyone knows of a drum teacher who would be interested in carrying on with Darren’s students, please get them to contact the school office.
