Glenville U21 tournament. Valley Rovers U21 footballers took on Na Piarsaigh in Brinny on Saturday in the second round of the Glenville tournament. It was the visitors who had the better of the play of the opening 15 minutes and lead 1-1 to 0-2. The second quarter belonged to Valleys who kicked eight points in a row to lead at half time 0-10 to 1-1. In the second half both sides swapped two points each to leave the score at the three quarter mark Valleys 0-12 to Na Piarsaigh 1-3. The fourth quarter was one way traffic with Valleys outscoring Na Piarsaigh 1-5 to 0-1.
