The North Royalton Athletic Boosters are looking forward to an exciting year of Middle School and High School sports! New Trustees were elected at the May NRAB meeting, and they have been working hard over the summer in preparation for the year. The NRAB Executive Board has spearheaded a strategic plan to ensure the continued success of our organization.

Please plan to attend both the meeting and the gathering to share your ideas. There will be many volunteer opportunities to support our student athletes throughout this
upcoming school year. Consider where your talents can best be put to use! Fundraising is an ongoing process which allows us to provide our athletes with high quality uniforms, equipment, etc. Our traditional events will continue this year, as well as some new opportunities …stay tuned!

Each month I wanted to recognize members of the NRAB who provided a real boost to the health of our organization in the last month. I would like to commend the following individuals and acknowledge their contributions as follows: Paul Twarog, Gary Marousek and Carey Marousek: The three of you helped institute a smooth transition in the membership trustee position. Your hard work and ideas this summer really helped the group move forward in a positive direction as we kicked off the new year.
John Vasil: Your work this summer was also essential to maintaining a strong stream of communication flowing and making changes to the website that started to fit the Executive Board's new vision. You constantly provide feedback and ideas that add value, which helped us prepare for the first meeting. An example of this would be the initiative you took by getting us involved with the Aquarium as a fund raising opportunity.
Mike Barbo: Thanks for moving out of your comfort zone and trying something different this year. Your time, energy and enthusiasm helped make the Gold Card Blitz a success this year. Jim and Kerri Smith: Once again, thanks for all of your hard work and diligence in coordinating coverage for the Concession Stand at all of the 40+Fall Sports events at Serpentini Stadium!! Dane Albright: Thanks for returning as the Programs Trustee. You provided an excellent product once again that also generates money for our account to support the athletes. Jason Grimes: Thanks for generously donating North Royalton Spirit Wear as door prizes for the meeting.

North Royalton Athletic Boosters is teaming up with the Greater Cleveland Aquarium to put the “FUN” back in FUNDRAISING! Our organization is selling tickets to one of Cleveland’s newest attractions, the Greater Cleveland Aquarium! For every ticket we sell, $4 will be donated to our organization. Just go online, buy tickets, and enter our promotion code. It’s that simple! The Greater Cleveland Aquarium is Ohio’s only free-standing aquarium, and is home to an 11,000 gallon Touch Pool, 230,000 gallon main shark exhibit, and a 170-ft underwater SeaTube. Since opening in January 2012, the GCA has welcomed more than a half a million guests.
