[email protected] Do you want to make a quilt that uses the whole piece of fabric, with virtually no waste? Do you want to have something special & unique that reflects YOUR creativity? Then the One Block Wonder (OBW) class is for you! Every OBW quilt is unique & special. We could have 10 people all using the same fabric & we will end up with 10 very different quilts. Join Cindy Haddick for this fun 2 part class. You will learn the importance of fabric selection, as well as, the construction/ assembly of these amazing quilts. Class Supplies: •
Fabric 6 yards recommended or 7 panels if you are using panels (Class Kits are available for purchase)
Fabric selection is very important. Students will get the most desirable finished quilt if you start with a LARGE scale print (Kaffe prints or Asian prints are a good example). A fabric print with about a 24” repeat, when you look along the selvage edge, is ideal, but anything can work. You will need at least 6 “repeats” of your fabric. With 6 yards you can use the original fabric for borders or on the back.
