ADVANCED SIGNAL INTRO. TRANSPORTATION TIMING COURSE IMPACT STUDY
The next OTM Book 7 Training Course will be held on September 8, 2016 in Mississauga.
The 2016 Advanced Signal Timing Course will be held on September 30, 2016 in Markham.
The Ontario Traffic Manual’s Book 7 (Temporary Conditions) has been developed to provide basic uniform requirements for traffic control in work zones during roadway or utility construction and maintenance operations on or adjacent to public highways including ramps and municipal roads and streets, (as well as other public ways to which road traffic has access).
This advanced signal timing course has been revised for 2015 and is designed to provide the traffic engineering practitioner with concepts and techniques used to define, calculate and implement signal timing plans for various operating conditions and characteristics

WORKSHOPS The 2016 TIS Workshop will be held on October 11, 2016 in Burlington. This workshop will help to identify the additional traffic contribution of a particular site development and provide a basis for estimating roadway improvements attributed to a proposed development to maintain a satisfactory level of service, while ensuring that the recommendations are compatible with the local jurisdiction's road policy For more information and to register visit: www.otc.org
