YOUTH SOCCER CAMP
OUR STAFF The Lakeland College coaching staff is excited to host another youth summer soccer camp. The purpose of the camp is to provide an opportunity for youth soccer players to develop and enhance their soccer abilities and their passion for the game through quality instruction from the Lakeland coaching staff.
Emphasis will be placed on the development of technical skills. Small-sided games will offer opportunities to test new skills. Players will learn in a challenging and fun environment created to maximize their experience and love for the game.

This camp is for youth soccer players with a passion for the game, who are looking to develop and improve their technical and fundamental skills. Experienced
coaches will use proven coaching techniques to develop player skills. Camp will include live game play and will be beneficial for youth players at all positions.

WHAT TO EXPECT FROM OUR CAMP Each youth player will receive hands-on instruction from the Lakeland College coaching staff. In addition, players will receive a Lakeland College Youth Summer Soccer Camp T-shirt.
EQUIPMENT
Each camper is responsible for bringing their own cleats, shin guards (mandatory), socks, shorts, shirts, ball and water bottle. In case of inclement weather, campers should bring non-cleat tennis shoes for indoor play.

Lunch will be provided to the campers.
ADAM GALLA - CAMP DIRECTOR A standout soccer player and now a veteran coach, Adam Galla has been the men’s soccer head coach at Lakeland for four years and also served as women’s head coach for two years. He brings 10 years of coaching experience ranging from the college level to various club soccer teams in his native Missouri. Before coming to Lakeland he was the top assistant coach at Central Methodist University in Fayette, Missouri He also served as head coach for the Columbia Pride U-18 Boys’ team and as assistant coach for the 1996 Girls’ Olympic Development Program (ODP) team. Galla holds his USSF “D” License and, in June 2010, he earned his NSCAA National Diploma.
INSURANCE
Each camper must have their own medical insurance. The Lakeland College Youth Summer Soccer Camp is not responsible for any medical or dental insurance. A medical release statement must be signed by a parent or guardian before a camper is allowed to participate in the Lakeland Youth Summer Soccer Camp. Each camper’s health and safety will be our first and foremost concern. However, as with all sports, there are dangers inherent in participating. An athletic trainer will be present during camp sessions.

Campers are divided into groups based on age (7-9, 10-11, 12-13). Camp Directors will re-evaluate groups upon seeing campers’ skill levels throughout the camp. Please indicate on the registration form if you feel your child should be placed in a higher age group or would like to be grouped together with a friend. Cost $115 Youth Camp $95 if registered by June 1, 2016 Registration Confirmation of registration occurs when your form is returned with the nonrefundable deposit ($25). Registration will continue until the first day of the youth camp. Campers will be supervised by the camp staff throughout the entire duration of the camp.
