Prescott Area Tennis Association 2nd Annual PATA "Tennis Park of Fame" Clinic and Inductions Sunday October 2nd, at Yavapai College Tennis Center
The day will begin with a bang!: 6 courts of tennis pros giving their best in creating rotating clinics (30 minute rotations) of 36 participants learning different strokes, strategies and fun drills to enjoy from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The clinic cost is $30.00, and includes lunch and a drink. All abilities are welcome, and this event is open to the first 36 people to sign up. All money made will go to the new "Park of Fame" to be built in front of court #7 REGISTRATION REQUIRED! Call or email Chris Howard: (928) [email protected] Lunch will be followed by our 2016 inductions from 1:00 pm to 2:30 pm on court #7. There is no charge for attending the induction, and everyone is welcome!
This annual event honors those who have made significant contributions to the game of tennis. The inductees for this year are: BERNIE ADAM - local USPTA Tennis Professional
LISA COOK - former PATA President and USTA Umpire
ROBIN FOX - long time PATA Treasurer and volunteer
NANNETTE OATLEY/JOHNSON - U.S. Open Champion in
Wheelchair Event of Singles and Doubles - long time volunteer
EDNA MOGLEWER - One of the PATA Founders and long time volunteer and promoter in the Prescott area.
