 Recess o Just a reminder that our students will go outside for recess as long as the temperatures are above 25 degrees. Please send your students with appropriate coats/jackets, gloves, and hats so they are prepared for those days.  Nurse’s Note o Parents, we are struggling at school with several cases of head lice. This is a problem that must be dealt with at home. Please check your child's head on a regular basis and treat as needed. If you need any advice, or have questions, contact our nurse at 689-9131 ext 3008. Please stress to your child not to share items such as hats, combs, hair ties, etc. Thank you for your assistance with this issue.  Parent Access to Skyward o Parents will receive directions at parent teacher conferences on how to access their child's grades through Skyward, our new online student management system. Beginning with the 2nd nine weeks, parents will be able to access Skyward and check their child's grades online. Please note that Mac El teachers are required to update grades at least every two weeks in the online gradebook.  Device Insurance o If you would like to purchase insurance for your child’s device please send in a $25 check made out to Maconaquah Elementary School with your child’s name on it. If you have any questions call 765-689-9131 ext. 3005. o Insurance Cost is $25/student for the 16-17 school year.  School Fees o Parent/Guardians – You can now pay your child’s lunch balance and Laptop/Ipad insurance at https://eps.mvpbanking.com/cgi-bin/efs/login.pl?access=55861. o Note – For your “Family ID #” you will need to use your child’s “Student ID #” for this field.
