Notes From the Cafeteria o Parents – Please remember to keep your child’s lunch account up to date with payment. Currently we have several students that have negative balances on their lunch accounts. 17-18 School Registration o Maconaquah School Corporation will be moving to online registration for the summer of 2017. Parents of returning Maconaquah students can register their kids online starting on July 10, 2017. So save yourself some time and complete your child’s registration online. o If you do not have internet access you can still come to Mac EL to register online on the following dates: July 18 from Noon-6:00 PM July 19 from 9:00am – 3:00pm o If you are new to Maconaquah Schools you will need to attend one of the on-site registration dates. Nurse’s Note o If your child has medication in the school nrses' office, please remember to pick them up or send a signed note in for them to be sent home with the student. Any medication left after 3:15 on the last day of school 5/26/16 will be disposed of. The school, by law cannot store/keep the medication over the summer. Parent Access to Skyward o Parents will receive directions at parent teacher conferences on how to access their child's grades through Skyward, our new online student management system. Beginning with the 2nd nine weeks, parents will be able to access Skyward and check their child's grades online. Please note that Mac El teachers are required to update grades at least every two weeks in the online gradebook. Important End of the Year Dates o End of the Year Dates - Mark your calendars and note the change for awards day: o May 23 - Field Day o 10:00 a.m. - MHS Seniors/Graduation Walk o May 24 - Talent Show (9-10:30)
o May 25 - Awards Day (no specials during awards times) Grade 2 9:00-10:00 Grade 4 - 10:15 -11:15 (no specials during awards times) o May 26 - Awards Day Grade 3 9:00-10:00 Grade 5 - 10:15 -11:15 Mac El is now on Twitter!
