Production Operatives - Job Ref No HST225 Who we are looking for We are looking for energetic and self-motivated Production Operatives to work within the manufacturing/operations division. This is the ideal role for a candidate seeking to build skills with a successful company offering a modern working environment and excellent training and development opportunities.
As a Production Operative, you will be responsible for undertaking a wide range of production activities and manufacturing processes to produce high quality product at a high volume and within tight deadlines. Key Competencies - Essential
Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment
Previous experience working with small components
Be a team player with the ability to work unsupervised
Be confident working with people at all levels of the Company
Work under pressure and to tight deadlines
Be enthusiastic, committed and driven
Attention to detail
Key Competencies - Desirable
GCSE’s or equivalent including Mathematics and English, Grade A-C
A working knowledge of Microsoft Office to include Word Processing, Excel and Outlook
Previous experience working with medical devices
Good soldering skills
Be familiar with quality control in a highly regulated environment

JOB SUMMARY TO MANUFACTURE ASSEMBLIES AND SUB-ASSEMBLIES TO THE HIGHEST POSSIBLE QUALITY LEVEL AND IN ACCORDANCE WITH MANUFACTURING WORK INSTRUCTIONS
Main Duties & Responsibilities: 1
To construct assemblies, sub-assemblies and units in accordance with Work Instruction

To perform other such operations on Product for which appropriate training/instruction has been given
3
To keep work areas tidy and organised at all times To observe Anti-Static precautions at all times on the Production floor and to ensure that visitors to the Production floor either observe such precautions themselves or are prevented from handling product To observe all Safety Precautions particular to operation undertaken and to use such protective garments or aids as provided for the purpose To exercise vigilance in respect of defective materials or product and to report any such defects observed immediately to the Production and Stores Supervisor, buyer or Operations Manger To attend such training as provided and required to perform duties whether in relation to operations or Quality To be aware of the Quality imperative in all aspect of work To maintain awareness of Company Health & Safety Policy and Fire Evacuation Procedure and take all reasonable precautions against personal harm or injury To understand and apply the Company Quality Procedures and contribute to change as required To supply kits of material to production in accordance with procedure H001-003-045 following suitable training
