October 2011 We’re gearing up for a fabulous holiday season now that the excitement of the AQS Show is over for another year. It’s always a beautiful show and this year was no exception. How exciting to see so many local quilters receive such recognition! I can’t believe I actually found some time to quilt again! Our first fall retreat was this weekend and I was in heaven with 3 days of non-stop sewing. We received two great collections of Stonehenge from Northcott and our new line of suedes from P&B is our new favorite basic. New jelly rolls and batiks from Hoffman and just lots of great new fabrics—stop by to see it all! Trina and I are off to Quilt Market in Houston in a couple of weeks and we can’t wait to share our new finds with you!
