Let Cindy show you unbelievably easy methods that don’t even require a zipper foot! Sewing machine required. Teacher—Cindy Peters Mon. July 2 6:00-8:00pm —$15 A LITTLE SOMETHING JACKET—Breeze into the season in this carefree pattern that have been in the Top 10 for at least a year. Jacket has a slightly flared 3/4 length sleeve or full length sleeve and is designed to move easily from work to weekend. Comfortable and stylish, it looks great in Batiks or cotton prints. Sewing machine required. Teacher—Cindy Peters July 3 & 10 6:00-8:00pm $30 BEGINNING MACHINE APPLIQUE – Learn how to use fusible web successfully and techniques for stitching straight lines and curves plus getting around those tricky inner and outer points. You will also learn how to layer applique pieces to achieve the look you want. This class is for beginners, comfortable with rotary cutting and basic quilting techniques. Our project will be an appliquéd towel. Sewing machine required. Teacher—Cindy Peters Tues. July 9 & 16 6-8pm $30 10 STRIP WONDER BAG—This great bag uses just ten 2 1/2‖ wide strips ( a jelly roll will make several). BEGINNING QUILTING - If you’ve ever had the desire to learn to make a quilt but didn’t know where to start, this is the class for you! Learn everything you need to know to ―get you on your way‖ to successful quilt making in this four-week class. Start with fabric selection, rotary cutting, strip piecing and finish with layering and binding - plus tips and tricks to use on future projects. This class specializes in hands-on instruction and individual attention. Sewing machine required. Teacher—Cindy Peters Mon. July 23, 30, Aug. 6 & 13 6-8pm—$50 MACHINE EMBROIDERY BASICS—Part 1 Want to learn more about machine embroidery and what you can do with your machine? Our first part will focus on downloading designs, saving them to your computer, creating folders and loading them to a USB drive. Part 2—This class will focus on stabilizers, needles, sizing designs, bringing in designs from your computer or disc. Teacher—Cindy Peters Tues. July 31 & Aug. 7 5:30-8:00pm $40 HOW TO QUILT WITH YOUR SERGER—This class will focus on the perfect 1/4‖ seam, what patterns are ―serger friendly‖, quilt-as-you-go technique and more. We will make several different quilt blocks and the Serger Ruffle Quilt we have displayed. Must know how to thread and use serger! Teacher—Cindy Peters Wed. Aug. 1, 8 & 15 6-8:00pm $40 T-SHIRT QUILT—Join the t-shirt quilt craze in this three week class. All aspects of the process will be covered, design, cutting, and more! Sewing machine required. FREE CLASSES TABLERUNNER TUESDAYS—Join us for our new Tablerunner Tuesdays on July 24 or August 14 from10am-Noon. The class is free but you will need to purchase your supplies from Quilter’s Cupboard. July’s project will be Atkinson Designs new Tankini and August will be one of the great runners in the new Runnermania book by Gathering Friends. Space is limited and preregistration is required.
MONTHLY CLUBS STITCHERY AND WOOL CLUB Hand embroidery is really popular again and our club is the perfect place to get back into it. Our projects include stitchery and wool designs and beginners are always welcome. We love to show you how to embroider! Bring a project you’ve gotten from us, or we’ll help you pick out something new. Each month Carmen (our wonderful club leader) will share new projects and techniques. The meeting will be the 2nd Thursday of the month at 5:30 pm and last 1 1/2 hours for extra stitching time! No charge, just call to reserve your spot. MACHINE EMBROIDERY CLUB New session will be forming soon—$60 for 6 months. Preregistration is required and space is limited! Call for more info! CIVIL WAR /TAOS BOM SEWING GROUP Need a little help with your Civil War Journals or Taos Batik monthly blocks? There is no charge for this monthly club if you are participating in our BOM program. $5 if you just want to come and learn new techniques and have fun! Club meets 3rd Thurs. of the month at 10:30am & 6pm. FABRIC CLUB Where do you hide your stash? Does it fit in your sewing room? Under the bed? How about that old hamper that your family thinks has clothes in it? Take back the house in 2012! Let’s get those UFO’s (unfinished objects) out and completed. This is a FREE club! Come sew and socialize while using up your stash. The club meets the last Monday of the month from 10 – 4. Call to reserve your spot. SERGER CLUB Bring your Baby Lock or any brand of serger and any project you’re working on to our Serger Club. Join other serger enthusiasts, share tips and tricks and learn new ideas. 1st Thursday of the month from 10:30—1pm $5. Space is limited and pre-registration required.

In fairness to the teachers and other students who have purchased their supplies, we are unable to make refunds after that time.
