BOOK 7 TRAINING The next Book 7 Training session will be held in Mississauga on August 26 The Ontario Traffic Manual’s Book 7 (Temporary Conditions) has been developed to provide basic uniform requirements for traffic control in work zones during roadway or utility construction and maintenance operations on or adjacent to public highways including ramps and municipal roads and streets, (as well as other public ways to which road traffic has access). Note that this training is based on the newly revised OTM Book 7. For more information and to register visit: www.otc.org

SUPPLIER SHOWCASE
Following the release of Book 18: Cycling Facilities, the OTC has developed a Book 18 training course which will provide a comprehensive overview of the Book 18 guidelines for bicycle network planning, facility selection and design, and network implementation.
The Parking Workshop & Supplier Showcase will take place September 21 & 22 at the Holiday Inn, Barrie. The OTC’s Parking Committee is currently working on the preliminary agenda for this year’s Workshop. All details will be updated on the OTC website as they become available.
