Rattler Soccer Camps
In his first two years as head coach of the St. Mary’s Men’s Soccer program, Michael Bonelli has produced impressive results, winning a total of 15 matches against Division II competition, the same number of victories amassed in the four years prior to his arrival. In each of the past two seasons, the Rattlers advanced to the Heartland Conference Championship Tournament semifinals. In his two years, Bonelli has coached nine players that were selected All-Heartland Conference and two that were selected to the All-Region Third Team. Before becoming the St. Mary’s Men’s Soccer head coach, Bonelli was head coach at Slippery Rock for four years where he led his team to a PSAC Championship, an NCAA Regional appearance and a No. 8 national ranking. Before becoming a head coach, Bonelli was an assistant coach at several prestigious NCAA Division I universities. His assistant coaching stints included time at Northwestern University of the Big 10 Conference, Lafayette College of the Patriot League and Wright State University of the Horizon League.

The objective of our 2016 Day Camp is to provide the youth soccer player with the opportunity to learn from the St. Mary's University men's soccer program. Our staff prides itself on giving each camper a first class camp experience by creating a fun enjoyable soccer environment. The Youth Soccer Preparatory Academy (YSPA 64) is the premier camp experience for boys ages 9-14. Our elite staff of coaches will include collegiate coaches, and high-level high school/club coaches. We will provide the committed soccer player with the opportunity to learn and be challenged in a fun competitive soccer environment. We will give each camper the tools to flourish in their youth soccer careers. Our use of skill work, small sided games, and full sided matches will give each camper a first class soccer experience, while at the same enhancing their overall game to the next level.
