It will be a study of using many different stabilizers and applique techniques. We will use liquid thread, fusible thread and interfacing techniques also. Supplies: Sewing Machine in good working order Foot control and power cord New needle Accessories 1/4” Piecing foot* Applique or Open Toe foot (clear foot is nice) for decorative or satin stitches* Needles 80/12 Universal needles* Other needles according to your decorative thread* Thread 100% cotton decorative thread, or other thread to applique with (could be rayon or polyester) can match fabric or not* Notions Garden Quilt pattern by Amy Bradley Designs* Rotary cutter & mat* 12 1/2” square ruler* 6” x 12” ruler* Scissors for paper and fabric, sharp to the point* Seam ripper* Snippers* Glass Head pins* Pencil & paper for notes Post It notes Mechanical pencil Applique Sheet *(2 of them is nice but can use only one)

Fabric
According to pattern 3 yards Background 1/2 yard Sashing 1/3 yard dark fabric for checker border and Ohio Stars center block 1/4 yard for points for Ohio Star blocks 1 1/2 yards for Prairie Points binding
