Kids Club Zip It Coin Purse Supply List

3-6 pm 9:30-12:30 or 2-5 pm

The name says it all about this cute little coin purse: Zip It right up! This is our zipper project for this year and it’s a fun one. So come along to Kids Club and learn about zippers! Supplies:  Sewing Machine in good working order*  Foot control and power cord  Everything on your General Supply List*  Zip It Screenplay II pattern*  6” x 6” square of mesh*  9” polyester zipper to match mesh color  Fabric strip 7” long x 1” wide. A scrap from your fabric stash will work great. We will cut the strip in class.  Extra zippers, mesh and fabric - you may have time to make more than one  One spool of Mettler polyester all-purpose thread to match your mesh and fabric* Skills Learned/Reviewed:  Sewing in a zipper using a zipper foot.  Sewing with mesh.
