Question from Moritz Schmid (Consigli Construction Co., Inc) at 09:02 AM on 05/11/2016 The lighting drawings call out for existing to remain lighting in L50 and B29. Per the walk through on 5-11 L50 does not have any emergency lighting or exit signs. B29 has (1) emergency fixture outside the door to the mechanical room. Please confirm if there is to be any additional emergency lighting in these locations as they would be needed for the walk through with BFD on 5-16.

The scope of this project did not include replacing lighting in corridors L50 and B29. However, IBC 2009 1006.3 requires that means of egress, including corridors, have emergency electrical power for illumination. See attached code reference. WRA/Cosentini 2016-05-11
