ROCKHARBOR Church Connections Associate About ROCKHARBOR Huntington Beach ROCKHARBOR Huntington Beach is a non-denominational, multi-campus church located in Huntington Beach, CA. RHHB is one campus of five Rockharbor Church campuses. Through weekend celebration services, mid-week life groups and church planting, our vision is to raise up communities who are bringing the Gospel to a world in need. ROCKHARBOR was planted out of Mariners Church of Irvine, CA. RHMV was the third ROCKHARBOR campus to launch in May 2011. About connections ministry Our goal is to get the many visitors to our church community connected with the many life-giving resources and ministries we have available at the campus. Week after week, many new people come through our doors, experience an incredible Celebration Service on the weekend, but don’t know how to take next steps to get involved. This position exists to cultivate a context where people can get connected and stay connected to the amazing work God is doing in our church family. About the position This position is a part-time [20 hours/week] permanent position. We would like this position to start no later than August 1, 2015. This position reports to Andrew Schey, our Campus Pastor. Staff members are expected to adhere to rockharbor’s leadership guidelines [which can be provided upon request]. ROCKHARBOR Church Connections Associate Job duties: Serve as the “face” of ministry connections at the campus, capturing stories, overseeing the connection table, picking up connection cards and following up on CORE 2. Oversee weekend service teams (patio ministries, ushers, greeters, etc.) and equip them to be an effective “front door” for the campus. Support Celebration Director and existing ministries (Mission, Life Groups, etc.) to ensure teams have volunteers. Participate in connecting events on Sundays that encourage further investment. Streamline communication by distributing resources through the website and social media venues, updating the website and responding to RHHB email account. Serve as the administrator for the lead team, maintaining the HB master calendar, helping to coordinate staff/lead volunteer relationships and lead team associated projects. Work with the business office to stay current on connection table sales, petty cash and offering. Qualifications Intimate and growing personal relationship with Jesus Christ Enthusiastic about the church community and a passion for inclusivity Strong computer and administrative skills Leadership, organizational, and time management skills Cooperative and servant attitude Team player Strong communications and discretionary skills Willing to support policies and leadership of ROCKHARBOR
