ROCKHARBOR Church Families Associate About ROCKHARBOR ROCKHARBOR is a non-denominational, multi-campus church located in Orange County, CA. The Costa Mesa Campus was the first of the six ROCKHARBOR campuses with a strong 17-year history. Through weekend celebration services, Life Groups, local and global engagement, and church planting, our vision is to be a church of communities following Jesus as we worship, pray, and love others in Orange County and beyond. About Families ministry Our goal is to grow spiritually healthy families. We would like to foster a new generation that has an active relationship with God. Our Families Team strongly believes that spiritual development can and should begin from the earliest age with parents as the primary nurturers of their children’s faith. With this in mind, our resources support both the church and home with a focus on knowing God personally, igniting a passion for Christ, learning to listen to his Spirit, keeping Biblical content true to context, and cultivating a concern for people’s needs in our communities and the world.

About the position To administrate and organize office operations, while upholding our philosophy and values by being the primary support to the Costa Mesa Families ministry. This position is a part-time [25 hours/week] permanent position. We would like this position to start no later than April 1, 2017. This position reports to the Families Pastor. Staff members are expected to adhere to rockharbor’s leadership guidelines [which can be provided upon request]. ROCKHARBOR Church Families Associate Job duties:  

    



Oversee volunteer screening systems and processes. Oversee, and raise up a team, to assist the Families team by ordering and shopping at a variety of stores (Costco, Grocery Store, etc.) for: o Weekly supplies o Classroom Stocking o Curriculum o Volunteer Central o Events (i.e. Twas the Night) Utilize myRH for ministry purposes by accurately accounting for our families for the purpose of shepherding. Specifically: o Adjusting profiles and attendance based on the weekly attendance report. Track and maintain credit card purchases, receipts, and statements. Carry out all administrative support for families, kids, and student events (i.e. Baby Dedications, Spiritual Parenting, Twas the Night, Parent Council, Summer & Winter Camp, etc.). Tasks include, but are not limited to: o Creating events on myRH o Maintaining roster of events o Reserving rooms in Resources on myRH o Connect with Childcare Coordinator regarding childcare for Spiritual Parenting o Any and all communication requests o Sending out invites (email/snail mail) Assist in preparing, collecting, and maintaining medical and serve forms by using CudaSign for special events (i.e. Camps, all-nighters, Christmas Eve, Easter, etc.). Support kids and student ministries when it comes to the printing of signage, flyers, promotional materials Responsible ordering HomeFront Magazine and delivering to the families’ desk at the Centre. Create nametags for staff & volunteers (including Student Serve Teams). Give administrative support to Divorce Care & Nurture. Tasks include, but are not limited to: o Creating events on myRH o Depositing monies collected into the appropriate ministries in & out account o Reserving rooms in Resources on myRH o Any and all communication requests and print material o Order books for Divorce Care o Connect with Childcare Coordinator regarding childcare for Divorce Care Provide myRH administrative support to RH Kids on Sunday mornings.
