Roe Farm Primary School Newsletter June 2016 Dear Families We would like to take the opportunity to thank parent’s for their on-going support this year with school events that have taken place. Parents are an important part of school life and we have valued your patience and understanding when changes have occurred . It makes a real difference to a child’s progress if families make time to come into school to share their learning opportunities and experiences. Learning has been well and truly bought to life through school visits, play productions and visits from other professionals outside of school. Our recent ‘Sports Day’ was a huge success and it was great to have so many families involved and taking part. Your children thoroughly enjoyed the whole day! This is a very busy term and we want to share information and dates with families. Your children will continue working hard right up to the end of term and you will be proud of their efforts and achievements. Annual School Report
Sports Day Success
Your child’s annual report will be sent home on Monday 18th July. The report gives details of all your child’s activities during this school year and their grades in a range of subjects.
EVERYONE’S A WINNER! Children worked well to support and encourage their friends right across school and made one another feel safe and comfortable to take part. In turn, this resulted in a day of fun, laughter and enjoyment.
You can discuss the report during our Open Afternoon Wednesday 20th July with your child’s class teacher. The report will also state your child’s strengths and the areas they are working to develop. As always you can discuss any issue about your child’s education and progress at any time, just call into the office and arrange to see their class teacher or myself.
