Parking issues We have received several complaints recently from residents living on nearby streets. Please do not block driveways when you park as this is preventing residents from being able to access their own property and it causes considerable upset. Please show consideration and courtesy when you park near school and allow enough time to park up safely and legally.

Punctuality issue! Please ensure that your child attends school on time every day. Good attendance will make a significant difference to the progress that your child will make at school. Being on time at 8.55am is also important as lateness can impact on your child in many ways. Please try to avoid medical appointments during the school day. We have noticed that this is increasing and it is disruptive to your child’s education and to the work of the office staff. Most medical professionals will arrange appointments out of school hours in you request them. We would appreciate your co-operation on these matters.
Please note that earrings are not part of school uniform. It causes problems when children come to school with earrings because they are not allowed to do PE with them in. PE is a statutory part of the National Curriculum and earrings prevent them from being able to access this because they are not safe and can cause injury to the child. Earrings should not be worn at school. Please also ensure that if your child has long hair it is tied back for PE Lessons. – please support us with this to prevent injuries and ensure your child can access the full curriculum.
Breakfast Club You can now send your child to Breakfast Club from 8.30am for just £1 and your child will still receive a breakfast – hot chocolate, toast, cereal etc… You can still send your child from 8am which will cost £2 and also includes a breakfast. Our Breakfast Club is becoming increasingly popular and as well as being an enjoyable social experience for your child it will ensure they start the school day on time having had a healthy breakfast. Please contact the school office on 01254 56297 if you would like your child to come to Breakfast Club.
