5 November 2015 Dear Parent/Carer Residential Visit to Malham Tarn (18 to 19 November 2015) – Final Reminders We are providing you with information for Wednesday morning on the 18 November in the form of a check list. Please take time to read through the list carefully so everything runs smoothly on the day.
Children should be at school on Wednesday morning no later than 8.30 am The estimated time of return on Thursday is around 3.00 pm (could parents/carers please wait underneath the canopy of the sports hall) A packed lunch and a drink of water are required for Wednesday Please pack waterproof cagoule, waterproof trousers, hat and gloves in your child’s rucksack, they will also need to be wearing their boots.
Office staff will send a text to inform you of our safe arrival in Malham. As has already been advised, mobile phones are not allowed on the visit. Teachers themselves carry mobile phones at all times. Our policy is just the same as at school, we will not hesitate to contact you in the event of an emergency. Please assume that no news is good news. Our out of hours emergency contact number is 07812183441. Please only use this number in the event of an absolute emergency. Please note that all medications of any description will need to be passed to Miss Holmes or Miss Ellis on arrival so please make sure any bottles, sachets etc. are clearly labelled. If you have not already paid in full, could you please forward your payment for the above visit to school by Tuesday 17 November.
