ROUNDTABLE DISCUSSIONS GUIDELINES ANNUAL SCIENTIFC MEETING Overview Roundtable Discussions are 1.75-hour sessions on a specific topic that give participants a chance to interact with expert faculty. The session provides an opportunity to discuss the topic in a small group. The room has individual round tables with one speaker, who acts as facilitator. There are a maximum of nine participants. The faculty should present the topic beginning with some background information and then lead the group discussion by encouraging participation, providing focus on the topic. The session is ideally an interactive conversation. The faculty should arrive 15 minutes prior to the start time to check their table assignment. Audience These sessions will be attended by pathologists, cytopathologists, cytotechnologists, students, and other members of the cytopathology community. Electronic Handouts Pre‐Meeting Handouts for attendees to reference are required. Handouts can be in an outline format to facilitate and guide the interactive discussion. The ASC must provide handouts for sessions to be ACCME/ABP compliant. Handouts will be uploaded on the Speaker Portal so that they can be downloaded by attendees. Audiovisual AV infrastructure is not provided. Continuing Education Continuing Medical Education (CME) The American Society of Cytopathology is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
