Hendrikus Johannes ≈ Kaapstad 25.11.1798 Looking at the baptism entries enclosed it would seem that Michiel Cornelis and Cornelia Louisa were the alleged children of Hendrik v.d. Caap – no mention of Eber is made in the entry. In addition Michiel Cornelis is said to be 8 years old – his birth year will have been circa 1787 not 1789. The entry immediately following theirs is for Hendricus Johannes where the alleged father is Coenraad Lodewyk EBER Note: The date given for his baptism in SA Genealogies” vol 16 is 25.11/1798 – this should be 25.10.1795. His date of baptism in SAF CD v 9 is 25.11.1795 – instead of 25.10.1795
