Welcome To Fifth Street Presbyterian Church Our purpose for meeting together today is to meet with our Lord as a body of believers. We meet that we might hear Him speak in the reading and preaching of His Word. And, we meet to respond to His voice in our songs, prayers, and affirmations. In the ordinary worship of God we find extraordinary grace, encouragement and reason to hope. This corporate worship of God is the most important thing that happens upon the earth and we are delighted to have you with us as we approach the Father in Christ’s name by the power of the Holy Spirit.

ANNOUNCEMENTS October 2, 2016 FOR THE MONTH OF OCTOBER-- the Jr and Sr high class will meet with the adult class for a study of the Apostles’ Creed. EVENING WOMEN’S BIBLE STUDY-- will meet Oct. 6, 20, 27 and Nov. 3, 17 to study the book of Isaiah. This study is Thursday evenings at 7:15 P.M. in the home of Jane Simmons. Ages 14+ are welcome as well as newborns. Call or text Caitlin Covey for the study book ($8). MEN, please join us at Friday’s this Tuesday at 6 P.M. for a discussion of things that matter. This Tuesday’s topic will focus on biblical church life and biblical outreach. We meet 6-8 P.M. and you’re free to order a beverage or a meal. Hope you can join us; and please feel free to invite a friend. INVITING ALL SINGERS: The choir would like to cordially invite any and all singers to join us for the preparation and presentation of our annual Christmas Cantata!
