SKILLS CHALLENGE Welcome to the inaugural Lincoln-Way Storm Skills Challenge a funbased skills competition that allows our kids to showcase their Softball abilities while helping the community at the same time. The event will feature four competitions that test speed, throwing accuracy and hitting prowess.

All Proceeds from the event will be donated to the Lincolnway Special Recreation Associations. LWSRA’s mission is to provide recreation and leisure services for individuals with physical and intellectual disabilities while promoting greater disability awareness in the community. Medals will be presented to 1st, 2nd and 3rd place at each level of competition Open to all girls with separate divisions 10u, 12u & 14u No limit of times you can participate Winners will be announced on Sunday Morning. Registration will be available during the events.
Road Runner (Base Running): Each player will be timed running
the base path. Runner will start at home plate, touching all bases and ending by touching home plate again. The players with the fastest times will be declared the winners. Silver Slugger (Hitting): Each player will hit a total of 5 balls from home plate off a tee. One warm up hit will be provided. Longest measured fair ball will be recorded. The players with the longest hits will be declared the winners. Around The Horn (Team Event): This will be a timed competition consisting of four (4) players – Catcher, Third Baseman, Second Baseman and First Baseman. They will be timed at throwing the ball around the infield. Catcher to 3rd to 2nd to 1st then back to Catcher. Each team will get 3 turns. The teams with the fastest times will be declared the winners.
