Spooky FINISHED QUILT SIZE 48” x 57” Finished Block Size 9” x 9” Measurements include ¼” seam allowance. Sew with right sides together unless otherwise stated. Spooky Block These instructions are to make 1 Spooky Block. Draw a line from corner to corner on the wrong side of a 4¾” linen shade square. Place the 4¾” linen shade square on top of a 4¾” assorted print square. Sew ¼” on either side of the drawn line. Cut on line to make 2 Half Square Triangles. Press. Trim the Half Square Triangles to 4¼” square. Repeat to make 2 more Half Square Triangles. Referring to quilt photo for fabric placement, sew 4 Half Square Triangles, 4 linen shade 2” x 4¼” rectangles, and 1 assorted print 2” square together to complete the Spooky Block. Repeat to make 20 Spooky Blocks.

CUTTING REQUIREMENTS Please read instructions first before cutting. Seam allowances vary so measure through the center of the quilt before cutting border pieces.

Quilt Center Assembly Refer to quilt photo for block placement. Lay out blocks in 5 rows of 4 blocks. Sew blocks together to make rows. Sew rows together to complete the center of the quilt.

Borders Seam allowances vary so measure through the center of the quilt before cutting border pieces. Sew border strips together end to end if necessary to get the length needed. Sew side borders first. Border 1 Side borders should be 45½”. Top and bottom borders should be 48½”. Finish quilt by layering the quilt top, batting, and back.
