BASKETBALL INTRAMURAL SPORTS Sport Description Basketball is a sport between 2 teams of five players, consisting of two 20 minutes halves. The object of the game is to score the basketball inside your opponents goal as a team. The team without the ball is on defense and is to prevent the other team from scoring while the team with the ball (which is called offense), is trying to break its opponents defensive strategies and score. At the end of the game, the team with the most points wins! With the various types of leagues offered, you can find the right team to fit your playing level.

4 week regular season followed by a single elimination tournament The game will be played between 2 teams of five players each. Four players are required to start the game. Co-Rec teams will be comprised of 3 women and 2 men. The game will consist of two 20 minutes halves.
