The school opens to the children at 8.45am. Lessons begin at 9.00am. Please ensure your children don’t miss one minute of their education—every second counts! This week, the total number of minutes of education lost to lateness were:

639mins= 10hrs and 39mins Father, may our human family not become separated from you by building barriers of race or colour, of religion or class. Inspire us to recognise that we are all made in your image and likeness, so that we may grow in appreciation of all people, and encourage each other to grow in pride in who we are and who we are called to be. May we recognise your son in our midst, and live truly as brothers and sisters. Amen

News ‘n’ things…… It’s never too late……

to sign in when your child is late. This is very important so that we can register your child in school. If there was an emergency in school and your child was not registered it could put them in danger. Thank you

False start……...due to illness the PTA were unable to meet last week and have re-arranged their next meeting for Tuesday 19th January to discuss new ideas and events for this next term. Why not join them at 9.15 in the Parent’s Room.

Apologies to anyone who did not read the last two newsletters and have turned up for the awards assembly. Due to curriculum requirements, the school assembly has been moved to 10.10am on Friday mornings and as this is not a convenient time for parents, it was decided that the children would get their certificates at this assembly and a text would be sent letting parents know this so they could speak to their child

We are going bananas in KS2! From 21st January, there will be a fruit tuck shop available each day.

Thank you

Thank you to all who visited Dr Bike on Tuesday. It was a great success with many old bikes being ‘cured’ and new ones being given the all clear . Happy cycling!
