About the Engineers
About the Saints
• Rensselaer split its first two ECAC Hockey weekends of the season, defeating Cornell 1-0 before falling to Colgate 4-1 two weeks ago, and losing to Yale 7-2 but coming back to beat Brown 4-1 last Saturday.
• The Saints are one of three NCAA Division I women’s hockey teams that has yet to lose a game this season and are unbeaten through 10 games for the first time since 2005, when they were also 9-0-1 through 10 games and remained unbeaten through 14 (12-0-2). The last time St. Lawrence was unbeaten for a stretch of 10 or more games was a 10-0-1 run from Dec. 1, 2006 - Jan. 26, 2007.
• RPI has struggled offensively this season. The Engineers have averaged just 1.67 goals per game, tied for ninth in ECAC Hockey. • Lovisa Selander was the Third-Team All-ECAC Hockey goaltender and an All-Rookie Team selection last year and a preseason all-conference selection. She has a .931 save percentage and a 2.10 goals against average in 11 games this season. • Rookie Sabrina Repaci has been an impact player right off the bat. She leads RPI’s offense with five goals and two assists. Five of her seven points have come on the power play, and eight of RPI’s 20 goals this season have been scored on the power play. • Laura Horwood has two goals and is tied for the team lead with four assists in seven games played. Horwood had a goal and three assists last weekend. - St. Lawrence University Quick Facts -
• The Saints are also 4-0-0 in ECAC Hockey play for the first time since 2012. The Scarlet and Brown won their first five conference games that season, which remains the best start in program history. • The Saints beat two ranked opponents last week, topping 10th-ranked Princeton 3-1 and fifth-ranked Quinnipiac 1-0, to improve to 5-0-1 against ranked opponents this season. • Kennedy Marchment leads the Saints with 12 assists and 18 points, while Brooke Webster leads the team with seven goals. She scored the lone goal in Saturday’s win over Quinnipiac off an assist from Hannah Miller.

About Head Coach Chris Wells ’92
The Rensselaer Series
• Wells returned to his alma mater as assistant hockey coach for the men’s team in the 1999-2000 season after a stint behind the bench at Western Michigan University in the CCHA. He was named Associate Head Coach of the men’s hockey team in January of 2003.
• St. Lawrence had dominated the Engineers with 18 wins, just one loss and two ties in 21 meetings. The last meeting between the teams, however, resulted in a 1-1 tie at Appleton Arena on Feb. 6, 2016.
• He took over the reins of the St. Lawrence University women’s hockey team for the 2008-09 season. He guided the team to the 2009 NCAA Tournament and a 24-113 record, and three years later, led the team to its first ECAC Hockey Tournament title and was named the 2012 AHCA National Coach of the Year. • Wells began his collegiate coaching career as an assistant at Colgate University following a European professional career. He has also served the University as director of the St. Lawrence summer sports programs and a co-director of the Saints Summer Hockey School.

• The only time Rensselaer defeated the Saints was Oct. 29, 2010, when the Scarlet and Brown fell by a 3-2 score at Appleton. St. Lawrence holds a 9-0-2 edge in the series since that meeting.
Webster Extends Point Streak to 13 Games • Brooke Webster extended her point streak to 13 games with an assist in the Saints’ 3-1 win over Princeton and the lone goal in a win over Quinnipiac last weekend. The last team to keep Webster off the score sheet was Princeton in the first ECAC Hockey quarterfinal on Feb. 26, 2016. • Kennedy Marchment, who also had a 12-game point streak entering Saturday’s game with Quinnipiac, saw her streak end in the low-scoring affair.
Harrison Sets Shutout Streak Record • Grace Harrison recorded shutout wins over Dartmouth and Harvard two weeks ago and held Vermont scoreless over the final two periods the weekend before that. She allowed a goal with just one minute, 15 seconds to play in the third period at Princeton last Friday, ending her shutout streak at 226:15, more than 20 minutes better than the previous record, held by Rachel Barrie ’04. • She added a 20-save shutout performance against then-fifthranked Quinnipiac on Saturday to earn ECAC Hockey Goaltender of the Week honors for the second week in a row.
