P.E Kit - The children are also required to have a pair of shorts, top and a pair of plimsolls for use in PE lessons. We would like the children to wear red shorts and a plain white top for PE lessons. May I also request that parents purchase black shoes for the children to wear. Children should not wear trainers, sandals or boots. Head Lice We have had a further few cases of head lice in school and would urge parents to follow the treatment advice letter given to individual classes and regularly check for lice. As well as this, our school nurse recommends that all children with long hair should keep it tied back in school time to prevent the spread of head lice. Finally I need to inform parents of our older pupils that children should not arrive on site before 8.45 a.m. We have some children who are arriving on bikes and scooters waiting outside as early as 8.25 a.m. and are therefore not supervised and unsafe. Please ensure children arrive between 8.45 a.m. and 8.55 a.m. and are reminded about road and stranger safety. It has been reported to us that this morning one boy cycling to school was almost in collision with a car in Trysull Gardens. Thank you for your co-operation in this matter. Yours sincerely

Mrs S McHale Acting Principal
