Summer Camps Noel-Williams is billed to coach SSA 2015 summer camps. Come learn from a former pro & current English Championship League youth academy coach and talent scout. Shenandoah Soccer Academy is excited to announce that Gifton Noel-Williams will coach our 2015 summer soccer camps! We will be holding two weeks of summer camps from June 22-July 3. This is a 15-hour, nonresidential camp and is one of the most comprehensive attacking and skills camps available to our youth today. Gifton Noel-Williams is currently coaching for the youth academy at Watford Football Club in the English Championship League. Mentoring the U-14 Boys and working as the attacking/final 3rd coach for the U-18 Boys. Coach Williams is also a talent scout for the Watford Football Club. Each camper will be exposed to some of the most valued secrets and intricate coaching details of the game. Coach NoelWilliams will deliver informative and personal instruction to each camper. This information is specific to attacking players and priceless to teams who have trouble producing goals. Gifton’s entire life and playing career is built upon 30 years of experience at the absolute highest level of the game. Gifton has a reputation in Europe as a fierce goal scorer. He has a clear, concise message that is delivered with honesty and enthusiasm. This is a very rare opportunity for each camper to learn from a former U-18 English National Team member and English Premier League Professional. Take advantage of this wonderful opportunity to educate your child about the game of soccer through the eyes of a former soccer superstar and current Championship League youth coach. Stage 1 and Stage 2 Striker Camp will be held at the Handley Bowl, a top notch turf complex located in Winchester, Virginia.
Stage 1 Striker & Goalkeeper Camp June 22-June 26. Shenandoah Soccer Academy Goalkeeper Camps- Christopher Peter will be coaching the goalkeeper camps during the 2015 summer camp season. This is a 15-hour non-residential camp and is one of the most comprehensive goalkeeping courses available. On field lectures will incorporate aspects of advanced positioning, communication, goalkeeper psychology, fitness and methodology. Field sessions will focus on the following topics: Basic to advanced handling, training goalkeepers to make diving saves, resolving the through-ball and breakaway saves. Dealing with all aspects of flank attacks, commanding the penalty area and learning how to win the space behind the defense. Training the goalkeeper on backpass situations and developing the goalkeeper’s ability to properly distribute the ball.
