Kia Ora Koutou Another great night was had by everyone at the WP Carnival on Wednesday evening – our alternative to Halloween event. This was one of those events that touches hundreds of people in our community in one hit; it’s also one of those events when we come together as a community with 50 volunteers being part of the fun. I love these types of events – all action and everyone having a great time. I’m grateful to Patsy Way and Dylan Fortuin for their overall leadership, but I loved being a volunteer myself and being part of the fun – it was something special! We all know we achieve little without hundreds of volunteers chipping in to the bigger vision of Windsor Park, which is to build stronger communities by putting our faith into action. Each year those of us who are privileged to be staff take some time to serve and thank those of you who volunteer, no matter how big or small your commitment is. Our Volunteer Celebration event is being held on Sunday 18th November @ 2.30pm in cafewindsor and if you volunteer in any capacity, we’d love to see you there; it’s a great chance to see the width and depth of our volunteer base. If you’d like to come along (& we hope you do), please RSVP to Robyn at [email protected] so we know how many to cater for. Ngā manaakitanga Grant Harris (Senior Pastor)
